Cameron Dixon has over a decade of experience in remediation project design, management, and technical leadership, with expertise in the design and construction of remedial solutions. His design work focuses on remediation projects with large civil components, such as excavation, stabilization/solidification, consolidation, capping, and barrier walls for both upland and sediment sites. Throughout his career he has led designs for the remediation of over two-million cubic yards of soil and sediment.
Cameron’s designs seek to minimize the impact to existing ecosystems and provide enhanced natural and recreational function after restoration. Many of his projects have involved diversion of river flows to facilitate remediation and restoration. He also has significant experience in construction management, giving him the insight to produce design packages that clearly communicate the requirements to contractors, provide an adaptive management framework to handle changed conditions in the field, and minimize change orders during construction.
