Operations Manager, Sediment & Risk Assessment Group

Greg Murphy is an ecologist and Certified Fisheries Professional (CFP) with over 15 years of agency and consulting experience conducting ecological assessments. His work focuses primarily on ecological risk assessment, natural resource damage assessment (NRDA), and sediment and surface-water quality investigations for sites regulated under CERCLA, RCRA, and state voluntary programs. Greg is proficient in the design, implementation, and management of sediment and surface-water quality, ecotoxicological, tissue residue, and biological community studies. He also has strong knowledge and experience in the evaluation and effective communication of environmental data. His specialized areas of expertise include mercury assessment in aquatic ecosystems and fisheries ecology and management, where he has designed, implemented, and managed assessments in various freshwater and estuarine systems.
