Michael Arozarena is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CEPA) and Steel Tank Institute SP001 Certified Aboveground Storage Tank System Inspector with over 35 years of technical and project management experience in the environmental field. His diverse work background includes environmental consulting, industry, and the research arm of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Michael’s areas of experience include environmental auditing, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting, preparation of industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3), preparation of Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, development of Facility Response Plans (FRP), aboveground storage tank (AST) program development, AST training of plant personnel, AST integrity testing and inspections, plant-level regulatory compliance, and stormwater and wastewater monitoring.
