Throughout his 30 years in environmental consulting, Tom Sullivan has served clients from a wide range of business settings and in various regulatory frameworks, managing projects under several US EPA regions in 20 different states. For some clients he has acted as an extension of their in-house EHS/remediation staff, providing the expertise to manage and move projects forward, and cost-effectively reduce associated liabilities. A member of EHS Support’s PRP Team, Tom is currently involved on several Superfund projects managing and coordinating various aspects of the PRP Group’s involvement or managing activities for individual PRPs. Tom also manages allocation activities on behalf of some PRPs and has obtained very favorable allocation outcomes for his clients. He has significant experience in the investigation of potential environmental impacts at industrial and commercial properties, in the delineation of identified impacts to soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment, and with projects requiring remediation of environmental media.

Tom excels at developing cost-effective project exit strategies to satisfy the client’s needs under the applicable regulatory requirements, whether federal, state, and/or local agency involvement. As a licensed Professional Geologist, he also has significant experience in performing direct technical work, overseeing technical staff, coordinating modeling efforts, implementing remedial efforts, negotiating with agencies, and reviewing technical documents.
