EHS Support is Proud to Announce the Addition of John Bartos as a Senior Technical Leader for the Remediation Service Line
John Bartos brings over 15 years’ experience as a hydrogeologicial engineer, with a diverse set of geological and engineering talents. He specializes in technically complex sites using high resolution site characterization methods to facilitate Conceptual Site Model formulation. John brings an extensive track record of investigation and remediation at complex site and his focus and meticulous attention have provided remediation solutions that shorten remediation timeframes and reduce costs for clients.
Currently a PhD candidate in Geosciences at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, John holds a Masters of Arts in Geology from Syracuse University and Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana. He is a professional geologist, licensed in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Mississippi, as well as a professional engineer in Alabama.
John provides expertise in hydrology, physical and chemical hydrogeology, groundwater and fate and transport modeling, geochemical evaluations, statistics, fracture trace analysis and geotechnical evaluations. Additionally, he has significant field work and management experience with drilling using complex drilling techniques, geophysical surveys (surface and downhole), groundwater sampling (low flow to packer testing), remediation system installations, and well rehabilitations.
