Process Safety Management (PSM) can be a daunting chore. With requirements like Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) revalidations every five years, compliance audits every three years, training requirements every year, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) reviews annually, and a documented Management of Change (MOC) complete with piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) updates every time someone decides to make a change, it’s easy to fall behind in responsibilities or let compliance requirements slip through the cracks. Career changes, switching jobs, or downsizing can result in the PSM duties not being maintained as required.
EHS Support has the professionals available to ensure your process management stays safe and up to date. Whether assisting with SOP reviews, revalidating PHAs, conducting an external compliance audit, or just performing training to help your team stay current, we have what it takes to begin, catch up, correct, or maintain your PSM program.
Whether it’s project-driven or temporary on-site support, our team can provide an extra set of hands to maintain your management system, keep you in compliance, and help prevent a possible catastrophe.
In 2017 OSHA issued a National Emphasis Program (NEP) for inspecting facilities that meet the requirements to follow PSM standards. The NEP is still active in every state and includes programmed and unprogrammed inspections.
Don’t get caught behind when you have access to someone who can lead.
