An Environmental Assurance Package was prepared for a confidential client to a large, regional power utility to demonstrate the pollution and wildlife impact avoidance, minimization, conservation, permitting, and/or mitigation strategies for the construction and operation of a 34-megawatt (MW) biomass co-generation facility. EHS Support prepared practical guidance for updating threatened and endangered species surveys, use of species exclusion devices, and required relocation activities prior to construction to maximize project flexibility.
