This project included the use of an ESG scorecard during due diligence to evaluate the maturity of the acquisition target’s ESG programs. The proprietary evaluation approach, developed by EHS Support, focuses on understanding the ESG performance of targeted acquisitions and how the integration of the new company will impact the client’s overall ESG performance. Specific areas of improvement around health and safety, governance, and environmental compliance were identified as areas of improvement in the new company to better support integration.
