EHS Support assisted a client to renew their Risk Management Plan (RMP) for USEPA, covering a highly hazardous chemical used in their production processes. The client, known for manufacturing the material used to construct tennis courts, first underwent a compliance audit that identified opportunities for improvement, including the need for a Management of Change policy.
The RMP was updated in alignment with USEPA requirements and industry best practices, emphasizing hazard identification, accident prevention, and emergency response. Key activities included conducting process hazard analyses, modeling off‑site consequence, and coordinating with local emergency planning agencies to ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance.
